I have provided scans of the pages Dick appears in. The text is too small to read... this is deliberate. The purpose of the scans is to show other fans the scope of Dick's role. If you want to read, you will need to buy a copy of the comic... and support DC writers and artists.

Summary:
Yet another gem by Devin Grayson. This is a real feel-good story. Donna visits Dick and they go for a ride on his bike, have a heart to heart, are attacked by a bike-jaker, Dick gets to show off, they talk about how important they are to each other - Roy, Wally, Tim and Garth as well - And then Donna checks up on Dick's love life, his relationship with Bruce and whether or not he's getting enough sleep. Without a doubt, this is one of my favourite stories. It is a must buy for any Dick fan... especially those who love to see the relationship between the former titans hightlighted. Not one of my favourite artists.

Summary:
The first meeting between Robin and Batgirl. Another feel-good story from Devin Grayson. She is the best at writing the relationship stuff between Dick and others... which is probably why I was devestated by her run in Nighting... but we'll leave that for another time.

The story starts with Batman and Robin having captured Catwoman and Batman sending Robin away to look for evidence. We can only imagine what the big, black bat got up to while the boy was away. While in the pursuit of proof, Robin meets Batgirl. They argue, get in each other's way and finally work together to save the day. At tne the pair are sitting on the roof top together discussing 'the dating' thing and what it's like juggling a social life with a hero life. Dick comments that if he had a scrap book of memories it would be mug shots which is when Batgirls suggests using one of those photo booths - you don't see them around much any more. The final page has Batman come up behind Robin and take the film (a film of Batgirl and Robin acting like the kids they are). His only comment, "Good teamwork." (g)

"The Bride of Leatherwing"

Detective Comics Annual 7

Summary:
This is an Elseworld's Tale. While it isn't clear if Robin Redblade is Dick Grayson, there are a few things we need to look at. First, he is an orphan trying to avenge the deaths of his parents. Second, this story and the first one using these characters (posted in Detective Comics Annual 7) were written by Chuck Dixon who is a Dick Grayson writer. So, I'm concluding that this is an alternate version of Dick Grayson in Elseworlds.

This is the second story using these characters. It is told in verse. Basically Robin Redblade is with Capitana Felina (Catwoman) and they are attacked by Admiral Cobblepot (The Penguin). Robin sends a message via homing pigeon to Captain Leatherwing (Batman). He comes to the rescue and the story ends with the revelation Felina is Leatherwing's wife.

Summary:
"This is a 'Tales of the Batcave story' which reveals the origin of the cave's giant penny. Few realize it has nothing to do with Two-Face. This story was inspired by on one written by Bill Finger and Dick Sprang from "World Finest" #30. The story is rewritten from the dead villain's (Joe Coyne) perspective.

Summary:
Nightwing teams up with Supergirl to stop a smuggling ring. It is quite an equal teaming. When Supergirl arrives, a thug aims a cannnon at her and Dick intervenes. His thoughts..."She's probably take being hit by a cannon, but I have a thing about men hitting woman. I'm old-fashioned that way."

The author did a good job of this story. We see Dick's sense of humour, his ability to trust and how competent he is.

"Citizen Wayne"

Summary:
This is an Elseworld's storys... so it is 'odd'. (g) Reporter Clark Kent is looking for information on the recently deceased Bruce Wayne. He interviews Selina, Dick and Jim Gordon. Dick is an old man who is chairman of Wayne Enterprises. I can only hope that the lack of emotion shown by Dick is because he is covering who Bruce really was. Of course, the fact that his Robin costume is hanging in a case behind him has to make me wonder.
