I have provided scans of the pages Dick appears in. The text is too small to read... this is deliberate. The purpose of the scans is to show other fans the scope of Dick's role. If you want to read, you will need to buy a copy of the comic... and support DC writers and artists.

Issue 1
Major - multiple stories
Story Arc:
STORY 1 - "Fire and Ice" - Gotham is in the midnst of a natural disaster. The snow has left the city without power for days and people are taking matters into their own hands. The story is told from Dick's point of view. We are given an insight into his thougths on Damian and how he was to guide the boy. The pair come across a father and his son. The father has resorted to stealing and taken things too far. When he fires a gun at Batman, his son dives in front of Dick taking the bullet. The final discussion between Dick and Damian show that Damian is perhaps turning the corner and seeing the human side of things. I found it interesting that the final comments by Dick ("We can't save everybody. But we can try. And sometimes... we succeed") could have come right out of Bruce's mouth.

STORY 2 -"Pure as Driven Snow" - This is an Alfred story. He befriends a prostitute and put assists her to leave this part of her life behind. He explains to her why he did it. "My best friend.,.. he devoted his life to helping people. He died. He died. Others have taken his place, but this is the way I keep his memory alive." Maybe I'm strange, but I'm assuming Alfred is referring to Bruce... but I'm afraid I don't see these two as best friends... rather as father and son. The best part of the story is at the end when Alfred tells Dick and Damian he spent the night with a prostitute.

STORY 7 - "What Falls Below" - A Commissioner Gordon story. Mr. Freeze escapes and Gordon recaptures him. Batman appears in the final panel.

STORY 8 - "Snow Patrol" - Animated style. I thought it was silly. Batman is perched above the city next to some ice covered gargoyles... and one of them is Man-Bat whom Batman recaptures.
