I have provided scans of the pages Dick appears in. The text is too small to read... this is deliberate. The purpose of the scans is to show other fans the scope of Dick's role. If you want to read, you will need to buy a copy of the comic... and support DC writers and artists.

He appears to know this will be his final battle. In the end, he sacrifices himself to save everyone. At the funeral, Dick and Helena are devastated. Dick declares he will become Batman so the legend will live on, but Helena argues that they must let Bruce die and to continue his legend as Huntress and Robin. Very sad. Adventure Comics #464
Summary:
(Taken from "Comics.org") Vaux had made a pact with a demon to destroy Earth-2's heroes and their legacies, and almost succeeds, but is defeated by the JSA and Fate's magic (as well as Bruce's heroic spirit). A side effect of this victory was that Fate was able to have the world remember Bruce Wayne and Batman as two separate people, thereby keeping his true identity a secret, as well as Robin's and Huntress(Helena)'s (save those who already knew Wayne as Batman in the JSA).
